2009 Fifth Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semisubmersible

A fifth-generation ultra-deepwater moored semisubmersible based on the Odeco Victory design, originally entered service in 1975 and comprehensively upgraded in 2009. Rated to 8,000 ft water depth and 35,000 ft drilling depth, the rig features a 170 ft NOV derrick with 1,000 ST hook load, four 1,085 HP NOV 14-P-220 mud pumps, a NOV PS2-1000 top drive, and 7x Himsen diesel power generation totalling 42,840 kW. A proven deep-water moored platform with a 12-point mooring system and 140-person accommodation.
